Our Doctors
Dr. David A. Hammond is the owner and director of our brunswick and euclid clinics. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 1994. He opened our clinic in Brunswick October of 1996 and added an addition in October of 2000. Dr. Hammond is committed to medical and surgical excellence of both of our hospitals. He has special interest and experience in Avian and Exotic animals, and is an excellent soft tissue surgeon. Dr. Hammond dedicates much of his personal and staff time and clinic resources to bring low cost services to area rescue groups. He has hand-picked and trained an excellent staff to serve our clients. Due to Dr. Hammond's busy schedule, we recommend that you book appointments early when possible.
Dr. Lisa J. Wilson graduated from The Ohio State University in 1996 and joined our practice in June of that year. Dr. Wilson is dedicated to our practice's medical, diagnostic, and surgical excellence. She performs soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. Including elbow, knee, hip, and fracture repairs. Dr. Wilson enjoys seeing dogs, cats, reptiles, pocket pets, birds, rabbits and exotics. She is available for appointments at Animal & Avian Medical Center on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Dr. Walter E. Martin was born and raised in Brook Park, Ohio. He obtained a Bachelors degree in Biology from Cleveland State University in 1998. He then attended the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine where he earned his DVM. He joined Animal and Avian Medical Center in Brunswick in June of 2003. Dr. Martin mostly sees cats and dogs as patients, but will see pocket pets also. His area of interest includes small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery and does enjoy taking extra time to get to the root of frustrating skin problems. He is starting to offer allergy testing on dogs diagnosed with Atopic Dermatitis. Dr. Martin strives to keep our hospital up to date on the newest medical therapies available. Dr.Martin is available for appointments at Animal & Avian Medical Center on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Dr. Martin's hobbies include fishing, golfing, cooking and spending time with his family and his pets.
Dr. Jennifer Holland is a 2004 graduate from The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Holland joined our team at Animal Medical Center of Euclid in the fall of 2006. Dr. Holland works exclusively, full time at our Euclid location. Her main interests are small animal internal medicine and soft tissue surgery, and she enjoys pocket pet medicine and will see many reptiles and exotic pets. Dr. Holland will also see small birds and is gaining experience and confidence with our larger avian patients. Dr. Holland lives in Mentor with her family and pets.
Dr. Cathy Palomar graduated from the Ohio State University in 1988. Dr. Palomar worked for over sixteen years at a local veterinary hospital in Middleburg Hts., Ohio. She joined our team in the fall of 2005 and is a full time veterinarian. Dr. Palomar is an excellent diagnostician. Seh is proficient in soft tissue surgery. Her special interest is pocket pet medicine and surgery. She has a loyal following in the greater Cleveland area and it is worth the travel due to her experience and commitment. Dr. Palomar is available at Animal & Avian Medical Center on Monday, Wedensday, Thursday, Friday.
